I'm slowly becoming addicted to J. Crew ever since I "discovered" the brand a few weeks ago. I never really explored J. Crew because I always assumed it was similar to Abercrombie & Fitch and marketed toward a younger clientele. After seeing some photos that a woman posted on Instagram, I decided to browse around the J. Crew Web site and I was amazed at all the gorgeous items they had to offer! Sure, some of their clothes are a bit on the young side, but they have a wide array of classic pieces that would fit perfectly into the wardrobe of a 40-something woman like myself. I ended up ordering the Perfect Shirt in Crosshatch Linen in the Brilliant Blue shade. This shirt is absolutely perfect! It's lightweight and summery, yet perfectly suitable for work or dressier occasions. If you're not familiar with J. Crew it is important to note that their clothes run a bit large. I normally wear a 4P in many brands but at J. Crew I am a size 0P -- woo hoo! This shirt is available for $88 on their Web site but you can find it on sale in stores for $69.99 plus an additional 30% off. Happy shopping!
