During my recent trip to New York, one of my main priorities was to visit the Ladurée boutique and buy some of their legendary macarons. Ladurée is such an enchanting little store! The macarons are beautifully displayed plus they have a wonderful array of gift items such as scarves, key chains, candles, and bath products.
After picking out a few cute macaron charm key chains to hang on my purses, I headed over to pick out a few macarons. With the help of a very nice gentleman, I chose 3 different flavors: Pistachio, Caramel with salted butter, and Vanilla. This was my first time trying a macaron - they are to DIE for! They are quite expensive ($21 for a box of 6), but they are well worth the splurge. I am heading back to New York in the fall and I will definitely be stopping in to Ladurée again for more macarons and for another key chain or two. My apologies for not posting a picture of the delicious macarons -- they disappeared before I could photograph them!
